🤯 The Lunatic Left Series is a (near) daily curation of X posts and other items that catch my eye while I do my morning news “rounds” over ☕️ coffee. It’s not meant to be comprehensive, merely representative of the lunatic left with whom we share a planet 🌎.
“Fake News” is not only outright lies, but it’s also propaganda: something with a molecule of truth which is spun preposterously. It’s so bad, so pervasive, that it’s resulted in what we now have: an America split down the middle. Friends breaking up. Families breaking up. A complete breakdown of communication between the two sides because the cornerstone of effective communication is an agreed upon vocabulary and nobody can even agree what’s true anymore. “Water is wet”? I actually had a leftist on X try to argue with me that, technically speaking, water is not wet, and then he went on to give me some sort of detailed, scientific explanation as to why that’s true. It was insane.
“Fake news” is also, often, what they don’t report. That’s a big problem. Here’s an instance of that which even I missed and I don’t miss much:

Is it any wonder with teachers like this?
Here’s a great example of propaganda. A story framed as ostensibly about a poor, mistreated illegal alien, but, once you dig deep into the article, is really about the murderer of a Holocaust survivor.
