Early this morning, the FAA put a complete ground stop on all flights in and out of El Paso. For ten days. For no discernible reason. Not even emergency medical flights are allowed.
The last time this happened was 9/11, but we all understood why. As this veteran newsman says:
This is quite a disruption.
