🤯 The Lunatic Left Series ~ Sunday August 9th

🤯 The Lunatic Left Series is a (near) daily curation of X posts and other items that catch my eye while I do my morning news “rounds” over ☕️ coffee. It’s not meant to be comprehensive, merely a snapshot of the lunatic left with whom we share a planet 🌎.

The opening X post concerns Charlotte, NC specifically but could be for any number of blue dot cities like Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, etc.

It’s tragic what progressivism does. Especially unchecked, monolithic progressivism. It never, ever ends well.

The cut-off text reads:

DA, magistrates, judges, police chief, school superintendent and on and on it goes. They are all paid exorbitant salaries and there are backroom payoffs and hiring friends at exorbitant salaries, all at taxpayer expense. As a matter of fact, they’ve raised our property taxes three years in a row to pay for all of this.

The schools are failing, and even now the superintendent is suspended pending the results of an investigation into her mismanagement of funds.

We regularly make national news because of the horrible crime committed on a daily basis because the DA, judges and magistrates refuse to lock up violent criminals and the mentally unstable. The sheriff doesn’t want criminals in the jails – he said as much just yesterday. We are short close to 300 police officers because they can’t get people to apply – why would they when the city does not back them up and the system just releases the criminals they arrest.

Charlotte used to be a really nice town. I’ve lived here all my life. My children were born here. I work in this city. I’ve seen it all and I can tell you that the decline started with a long succession of Democrat mayors and city council members. I don’t want to move, but I have no choice. I can no longer afford to live here, both financially and from a safety standpoint. Democrats have ruined this city and it’s only a matter of time before the banks will no longer be able to get their employees to come here to work and businesses stop relocating here. It may take 10-20 years, but at some point we will be another Chicago or Detroit.

What is the solution?

I wish I knew. Most conservatives fled the city for other counties years ago. Republicans don’t even bother to run for many offices anymore because it’s a waste of time. The voters here never seem to learn. I don’t have any faith that they will ever change. The only thing I can do is leave like the rest did.

This Hasan Piker guy is everywhere lately. He’s on stage with any number of hard-left progressive Democrats and can seemingly say anything and get away with it, no matter how vile.

The cut-off text reads:

That’s who Bernie, AOC, and El-Sayed chose to campaign with. Remember that in November!

The absolute state of the Democrat Party:

I don’t even know what this means but it sounds like the kind cf class that would absolutely guarantee you a job… as a barista at Starbucks.

What are we even doing????

The cut-off text reads:

are exempt from the Freedom of Information Act.

Members of Congress are exempt from FISA warrantless spying.

Members of Congress are exempt from term limits.

Congress has always been the problem.

America’s Founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves.

Oh. That’s nice. The Democrat candidate for Senator from Michigan, ladies & gentlemen. (He’s seated on the far right and gets up to take the mic in a minute.)

I don’t even bother to post all the trans murder and mayhem I see because it’s at least 2-3 times per week, but it’s been a bit since I’ve posted one so here one’s out of London.

Somebody who isn’t afraid of being blackballed out of research grants for the rest of his or her life needs to study this. I think the sex-opposite hormones they give these people are quite literally driving them crazy.

Wow. You know how they say “there are no bad questions”? Evidently in Rhode Island, there are.

The cut-off text reads:

to submit a public records request. OK ?…THEY TOLD her to do that so she did .

THEN They literally had a public school board meeting to discuss whether to sue her for doing exactly what they told her to do.

This should scare the crap out of every patent !

Yet another high-ranking education official caught plagiarizing. It’s become so prevalent now I don’t know why applicants’ writing isn’t automatically run through plagiarism software. Good grief.

They’re not only no longer trying to hide it, they’re boasting about it. The Attorney General for the state of Michigan, Keith Ellison:

The cut-off text reads:

last election… you know what? We gon’ get ’em all THIS election!”

The SAVE America Act must be passed now—and pronto.

Yes, well, the Senate just took off until September 14th, so I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Then finally, the simple things in life are the best. Here’s two to remind us.

Hah!

Have a great Sunday, patriots. ❤️🇺🇸
