As you doubtlessly know, there’s a race for Governor underway in California between Republican Steve Hilton and despicable Democrat Xavier Becerra.
Steve noticed something in a recent text from Becerra.
Normally I wouldn’t post a misspelling on X as a “gotcha” because it’s usually what someone does when they’ve lost the argument, so it’s usually a cheap shot — but not here.
Becerra is an evil, pompous ass and holds himself above all criticism, no matter how small, so taking note of this is well deserved. It was probably some staffer who did it, but it’s still inexcusable in the days of live spell-checking and when you are typing in a hot campaign, you should be more deliberate and careful.

You know, normally if a bunch of teenagers were running amok, I’d say “They should be in school!” but given what we know about how they’re being indoctrinated, er, I mean educated, maybe the District of Columbia actually arranging “teen takeover” rioting is a better choice? Yes, I’m being bitterly sarcastic.
Referring back to California, they really do need new leadership. Hell, they need a thorough housecleaning, from top to bottom.

I know I’ve posted on Mamdani doxxing New Yorkers before, but Forbes frames it properly and it needs emphasizing: what Mamdani did was a truly dangerous abuse of power. The kind he should be removed for, were we living in sane times. His number one job is to keep New Yorkers safe — not target them.
Like everything commies do, they invert Liberty and bring Tyranny.
Mamdani’s DSA (Democrat Socialists of America) also believe that your children belong to them. That explains articles like this. It’s all a part of the trans thing, the “feminist” thing, the divorce-is-empowerment thing, all of it. The destruction of the family, of all traditional roles, helps them control and capture you.
Fauci’s been in the news this week for pleading the Fifth 111 times before congress, so there have been a ton of COVID stories reminding us what it was like living under his edicts. Here’s just one. I’ve seen a lot of people saying “this is the one that radicalized me” about various edicts and this would be one that did that for me. I was already not buying any of it — none of it made any sense — but this? This got me.
We’ve posted a lot about how AWFLs (Affluent White Female Liberals) — especially in positions of power — are going to be the death of us and it’s true in Europe as well. Their judiciary is worse than ours. Not by much, but worse.
England has fallen.
As has all of Europe.

Look at it long enough and it stops being about what her body took from her, and becomes about what she would not stop doing anyway. The field is enormous and she is small and the house is far away, and still she goes, because the alternative, to be carried, to give up, to let the distance win, was something she simply would not accept.
There is one more thing: Christina loved this painting. Pink was her favorite color, and Wyeth had placed her exactly where she most wanted to be, out in the open, in her own field, under her own sky. Late in her life, when she could no longer even crawl out to that field, she said something that holds the whole meaning of art inside it:
“Andy put me where he knew I wanted to be. Now that I can’t be there anymore, all I do is think of that picture, and I’m there.”
