As long-time readers of TLLS know, I’m a lapsed Catholic, so you will not find me defending the Church, as a rule. Here, however, I feel compelled. Certainly not because of anything the Church has done, but because of what’s being done to them by the left.
It used to be we could all just live & let live. To sincerely co-exist, unlike the people who have the stupid “COEXIST” bumperstickers on their cars. Somewhere along the way, the left decided that wasn’t enough, that they needed to disparage those who were unlike them. Well, here we are again.
It also used to be said that politics was about the math of addition, not subtraction, so I don’t see how trashing Catholics is a good way to go, but I guess I’m just not “nuanced” enough to understand the strategy here. (“NCR” = National Catholic Reporter.)
NCR is a sewer of left-wing propaganda.
Once again, we see the misogyny of the left. They’re devaluing and objectifying women on a wholesale scale and here is yet another data point.
Giving birth is a uniquely female experience. No matter how many surgeries a delusional man has to “become” a woman, no man has ever given birth because no man has a uterus. It’s just that simple. There’s just no way around that. Yet here we are.
When they’re not objectifying & devaluing women, they’re objectifying & devaluing children.

The CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, has issued guidance to its “journalists” to no longer refer to the events of September 11, 2001 as a “terrorist attack.” (I put journalists in quotation marks because they’re quite literally paid propagandists for the state.)
It’s incredible, I know, but this memo is evidently real.
The fact that our FBI Director has responded this way is notable.
“…Will no longer have a friend in this FBI…” is a very serious statement coming from the Director.
One wonders if he really means it. Is this the end of intel-sharing cooperation between the two countries? Because that would be significant indeed. We’ll have to watch this…

The Democrats in charge of Los Angeles’ schools have spent taxpayer money for a K-12 guide on how to protest. I’ve popped out the image of the brochure below so you can read it easier.
Kindergartners? Really? And look how it’s just presumed these under-age kids will be protesting during school hours — so presumably they will be led by teachers.
This is appalling on several levels. How would you like it if your 5 year old was marching with anti-ICE signs? Or your 13 year old marching with “pro-choice” signs?
Schools should in no way, shape, or form, be marching kids out in public holding signs made at the direction of their teachers. They’re supposed to be taught both sides, in the classroom, period.
The irony in this… that we allowed in exponentially more Muslims after 9-11… Talk about “suicidal empathy.”

James Talarico, as you know, is the Democrat nominee for Senator from Texas, running against Ken Paxton, to replace Senator John Cornyn (who lost the primary to Paxton).
