Today we begin with big government stomping on freedom of speech. This is from 2023 so we know it’s much worse now (in the U.K.) as they really went to town arresting people these last few years — but what I also want you to notice is the U.S.A.’s position on the list. 6th up from the bottom. First of all, we shouldn’t be on the list at all. But secondly, look who we’re worse than! Worse than Vietnam! Which is a communist country! And worse than Saudi Arabia! Where they cut off hands for stealing. It’s appalling.
Note what kind of speech the U.K. is ok with… Again the word that springs to mind is appalling.
The cut-off text reads:
death threats? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They just stood by and let it happen. The two-tier justice system is completely out of control. Wake up!
Another one from the same rally:
When big government isn’t suffocating free speech, it colludes with Google to change maps. Look at this disgrace. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass didn’t want the big black scar of the Palisades fire scene to show on the Google map so she got them to paper it over with how it used to look there. You can’t trust anything anymore.
And when they’re not monkeying with maps, they’re ruining James Bond. James Bond!!!!
They’re also taxing people to death.
Or “greening” you to death.
Or just flat-out ignoring Supreme Court decisions about race-based admissions. I understand DOJ Civil Rights is on this Lawyer up, Yale.
I’m all for helping the poor, not just with sustenance but with cultural nourishment too, but good golly, the incentive structure here has proven toxic.
This is an astute observation.
It’s good to see some accountability! She made an illegal call to action. That does not fall under free speech protections.
We need to look at how many federal dollars are going to the University of Cincinnati. This is wrong. And probably illegal.
