Team Mamdani, all members of DSA, Democrat Socialists of America, think they can rewrite the Constitution. It’s such a genius document that to me, that’s akin to the old saw about re-writing Shakespeare. It simply isn’t done. Well…

(Yes, we can amend the Constitution, occasionally for the good, like the post-Civil War amendments — giving blacks equality — for instance, but they were in harmony with Original Intent so they worked. It’s when we start monkeying around with the fundamental structure of the Constitution that we run into serious trouble — the 17th is a huge example. But this? From DSA? This isn’t even a suggested change for/to single amendment that would be out-of-harmony with Original Intent: it is a wholesale rewrite!)

Moving on… The following is the opening to a recent article at Gateway Pundit on how “woke-ness” is not only psychologically damaging to those seeking treatment, but is damaging to psychological treatment itself. This surprises no one who reads this column on a regular basis.
It’s a fascinating article (and not that long) if you have even a mild interest in the subject of counseling or the known intersection of woke-ness & mental illness. You can read the whole thing here.

Speaking of ICE, remember the story the other day about the immigrant Minnesota Governor Walz pardoned to help him avoid deportation? (He’d raped a 10 year old girl over the course of several years. Sometimes anally… Sorry to have to type that out…) Well, our awesome Secretary of State just one-upped him. Secretary Rubio revoked his legal status and tossed him the hell out. Fantastic! Parenthetically, how do these people sleep at night? How do you do that? Protect a serial child rapist???????? This is the kind of immigrant you fight for???? How does anyone conclude you’re anything but evil?????? My God.
This is evil too: lowering expectations based on skin color. There’s so much wrong with this I’ll just let your mind run with it. You don’t need me to spell it out for you. It’s vile racism, for one thing. And too many others to name here. Again: my God…

Remember the female Texas cop from the other day who was threatening to arrest someone over perfectly benign 1st Amendment activity? Well, it gets worse. Yet another Texas cop making choices he has absolutely no right to make has taken place.
