Slippery slope here. Next it will be because you voted wrong, or posted something offensive, or work for the wrong company, or any number of things. Also, limiting speed sounds dangerous: what if you have to get out of the way of danger or you’re simply using the passing lane? And what about the ridiculously slow MPH signs that nobody honors? The kind that everyone knows is there just to generate revenue from speeding tickets, which NY has in abundance?
No, this is a bad idea. All the way around.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I have zero problems with a fair and balanced discussion of world religions in public schools but this is why 99% of these efforts go sideways — because you clearly cannot trust anyone to do it fairly!

Update on a post from the other day: the ICE protestor threatening the ICE agent and his family will be arrested.

The cut-off text reads:
case, Blanchard canceled a hearing, forcing a patient to remain hospitalized for two additional weeks.
“This patient will now remain hospitalized for an additional two weeks solely due to the lack of timely access to the hearing process,” an email from hospital staff read.
“This not only prevents her from being home with her family for Thanksgiving, but it also generates unnecessary hospitalization costs and creates avoidable emotional distress for the patient.”
On another occasion, Blanchard allegedly made a racist comment about white chief clerk Amanda Reid.
A staffer was asked by the judge if they liked Reid. When the staffer said they did, Blanchard replied: “Oh, I forgot you all like kissing white a$$.'”
In another case, a clerk asked Blanchard if she could be reassigned to Birmingham because the commute made it hard for her to see her sister, who was dying of cancer.
Blanchard never responded, and the clerk’s sister died shortly after.
